Ryan Andersen
Senior Investment Officer, Financial Institutions Africa and Middle East
Prior to joining Triple Jump in 2022, Ryan was the Portfolio Manager of the REGMIFA Fund at Symbiotics based in Geneva. He also spent five years working as a Senior Investment Analyst at Symbiotics in Cape Town covering Sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining the impact investment industry, Ryan worked in asset securitization in New York. His first exposure to microfinance and impact investment occurred while he served as a volunteer in the Peace Corps (Dominican Republic and Zambia), where he focused on grassroots projects that supported education and community economic development. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Cape Town. Ryan is an American national and speaks English.
